Tutankhamun sparks curiosity wherever he appears, more than 3,000 years after his death. Now, you have the chance to step directly into his world as the international success exhibition Tutankhamun: The Immersive Experience makes its Swedish premiere at Malmömässan on October 17.
A massive combination of digital projections, interactive installations, and VR technology takes you on a fantastic adventure back to Egypt in 1341 B.C. Walls, floors, ceilings… everything transforms into living environments where the gods of the pyramids come to life, and the mighty temples rise before you. And who wouldn’t be tempted by the opportunity to step into the young Pharaoh Tutankhamun’s mysterious tomb just as it looked when it was discovered 100 years ago, admire the mind-blowing treasures, and become a part of the world that surrounded this legendary ruler?
The exhibition/experience has received international acclaim and is sanctioned by the Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza. It was created by the Spanish Egyptologist Nacho Ares.
