Mozart Opera! DON GIOVANNI
Malmö Opera offers a classic production of Don Giovanni, about the womanizer who both seduces and destroys in his hungry search for new adventures. Humor, seriousness, social criticism and some of Mozart’s very best music. In Italian, surtitles in English. From October 7.
Afro-funk! MSO FEAT. ANGÉLIQUE KIDJO
Angélique Kidjo has been awarded 5 Grammys and the Polar Prize and is nothing less than a super star with an ever-growing audience. October 19-20 she gives two concerts at Malmö Live together with the Malmö Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Gast Waltzing. The concert is part of the Malmö Folk Festival.
Cuban Warmth! ROBERTO FONSECA – LA GRAN DIVERSION
Cuban pianist Roberto Fonseca has released 9 solo albums, has been nominated for a Grammy and has toured several times around the globe. On November 4, he and his band invite Palladium’s audience on a trip to 1930s Paris. Swing, dance and Cuban ”amor”!
Iconically jazzy! MANHATTAN TRANSFER –WORLD FAREWELL TOUR
Legendary vocal music group The Manhattan Transfer doesn’t need any introdution, right? Take the opportunity to see and hear them live now that, after 50 (!) years of pop and jazz hits, they visit Nöjesteatern on November 8 on their ”World Farewell Tour”.
80s Nostalgia! NIK KERSHAW – JUST HITZ AND OTHER BITZ
