Every year, producers, TV channel investors, various film institutes, film funds, sellers and distributors gather to be presented for projects aimed at a young audience, aged 3 to 18 years old. The categories are feature films, documentaries, animations, TV series, interactive projects, XR and VR. In 2022, the 16th edition was arranged in Malmö, which gathered 243 participants from 29 countries. m: brane is funded by, among others, Creative Europe, Film in Skåne, the City of Malmö, the Nordic Film & TV Fund, the Swedish Film Institute, the Nordic Culture Fund and Region Skåne.
