The company is 30% owned by the City of Malmö and 70% owned by members of the private business sector. The board shall reflect the members’ different fields of interest. DSM’s common goal is to attract more visitors to Malmö, with the vision to make the city one of Europe’s most attractive destinations.
The membership benefit consists in the opportunity to influence activities as well as the distribution of the budget, to participate in member activities and joint marketing activities, to achieve access to networks and competence development, to contribute to Malmö’s attractiveness and development, and a direct access to the local government.
DSM consists of 85 different members who are all active in the hospitality industry.
